Student Planner is a small, independently-developed app for tracking classes, tasks, tests, and study progress. By using it — as a guest or with an account — you're agreeing to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose; if anything here is unclear, reach out (contact details at the bottom). See also the Privacy Policy, which covers what data the app collects and why.
You can use Student Planner as a guest (no account, data stays on your device only) or with an account (synced across devices). Either way, the app is provided for personal, non-commercial use in managing your own academic schedule, tasks, tests, and study progress.
Everything you enter — your schedule, tasks, tests, subjects, grades, study notes — is yours. We don't claim any ownership over it, and we don't read it for any purpose beyond making the app work for you (as described in the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; the app's GPA/CGPA figures, derived scores, and reminders are calculated from that data and provided as a convenience, not as an official academic record — always confirm anything that matters (grades, deadlines, exam times) against your institution's own systems.
Please don't use the app to:
Student Planner is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It's a personal/independent project, not a commercial product backed by a support team or an uptime guarantee. While we try to keep it reliable, we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — see "Your controls" below for how to protect yourself against that (exporting your own data).
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a missed deadline, an incorrect grade calculation, or a failed/delayed reminder notification. The app is a planning aid, not a substitute for checking your institution's own official records and deadlines.
If these terms change in a meaningful way, the "last updated" date at the top will change too. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You can stop using the app or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a real, ongoing violation of the acceptable-use terms above.
